We are always amazed when we walk into Russian Cathedrals at the artwork, the glitter and gold, the important icons on display, colorful glazed tilework on the floors and more. It is terrible to think this cathedral was ordered closed by the government in the 1930, its cupolas destroyed and treasured icons removed!
